Azerbaijan – Just Go – is supposed to be a big ballad
A ballad is not a bad thing. A good ballad will stir your emotions and will make you feel the emotion. This song does none of those things. It just goes through the motions from A to B in a very predictable way. That ending in Azeri sounds so out of place, that it just doesn’t fit. The song sounds tired and formalistic and misses the punch and crescendo of a good ballad.
