Mr Battle, for that is his real name, has been plying his trade in manufactured synth sounds for many a long year on the old tube of you but does that make for an oven ready song? – Well it would, IF, and only IF, you were au fait with British culture and sub culture, quirky references and things that make no sense to anyone in the wide world of Europe. It’s OnEurope set to music isn’t it?? – You’ll either like it, and really like it, or you’ll be British and can’t see why anyone else within a hundred miles would vote for this and you’ll do the lazy trope about The Beatles and Harry Styles and <insert UK Artist here> never winning cos political innit.
Good songs trump politics, pun intended, this isn’t a great song – but it’s not half bad.
