This is an odd song. It starts off all plinky-plonky like something from a national final of old and then the beat seems to drop and then it turns at right angles and then back again – the first minute of this song is very very confusing!
It’s a total curates egg of a thing and I am not sure it knows what it wants to be and where it wants t go as it turns more than a slalom skier! – I mean it’s not intrincitly bad by any stretch, I just think this could be the year after Ukraine has used up all of it’s sympathy points from parts of Europe. It also gets old quick as well – it’s not an instant televoting song which also counts against it.
