Nick: I’m feeling the love in spite of myself. This lot are dangerous.

They may squash the molehill, but they’ll never touch the mole
They might eat Georgian custard, but I doubt they’ll wash the bowl
They ‘ll listen to D’Nash and end up dissing Tom G:Sson
So vote for us, G’WAN.

Phil:  Now this song may be Mrs Doyle and the Craggy Island Parochial House singers at Eurosong (finally) – and blimey she does look like her – but by Christ, this is the best Irish euro-song in ten years!

I know, I know … shocking isn’t it? It has a catchy hook, slightly dodgy lyric but by God, Mrs Doyle can’t half belt this diddley-aye out of the song.

Minimalist choreography – just a woman and a drum going up and down the stage. It kinda reminds me of a day when I was at  Limerick Junction and I went into a pub and saw those five old lads and that lass dancing at the bar … You know you have heard it somewhere before in a postcard of the millions of competitions that RTE have done – and yet … it’s still dangerous??

Cup of tea fathers??
