Michela Pace will represent Malta at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest.
Maltese TV broke away from its long-running ‘Malta Eurovision Song Contest’ national final after a run of poor results. This year, it was down to those taking part in the first series of talent show X Factor Malta.
It’s been a long slog, but this evening four hopefuls performed. 17 year-old Michela Pace edged out Owen Leuellen for the first place spot and an economy return ticket to Tel Aviv.
Nobody has said much about the song yet, but watch this space.
