Anita and Michele are trying, I’ll give them that. There’s a youthful professionalism about them, but it’s such a dull Siegel-plodder of a song that cheerful mockery of the call-and-response sections was the only way of getting through the rehearsal from this side of the screen with sanity intact. (Yes, it was).

They’re on the Monetta trajectory, I think, and I fully expect them to qualify for the Saturday show at the third attempt in 2017, and joy will be unconfined around the Zurich arena.
