Eurovision has thrown up a number of pairs of twins in its time. It’s good to see how family dynamics play out. Are they fully equal, or do they have their own different talents.
In 2023, today’s birthday boys Tural and Turan Bağmanov, known as TuralTuranX appeared to be fully equal in their delivery. The unaware viewer may have thought they were almost seeing double. Or, at least, they would if T and T were dressed the same. Luckily they weren’t. But, and it’s a big but, they might have done better had they been dressed the same. As it was, T & T became one act of a very small number to stay stranded in their semi-final. But just to prove you can’t keep a good set of twins down, we have seen them in a subsequent Azerbaijani music video.
Tural and Turan are 25 today.
