Those 28 artistes from Greece in full, unadulterated, glory

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

As the first snows of Winter melt away, well from the outside of this house at any rate, we have the first whisperings of stuff happening in far flung lands about a television show you are all boycotting, yes??

No?! – Good-o!

As trailed in Mo’s excellent round-up piece there were twenty eight (count them all!) acts that were announced for “Sing for Greece”, a very unoriginal title, which have already been drawn into two semi finals to take place sometime in February 2026, and a final in the same week.

A cursory look at the entrants will show you that 2013 entrants Koza Mostra are the most Eurovision known of the bunch, but there are also wikipedia entries, and therefore must be famous enough, for Evangelia (who failed in last year’s Greek final) and Panagiotis Tsakalakos ( The winner of an Idol season back in 2011).

with thanks to Misja Eurowizja’s recap channel on YouTube, here are snippets of them all in a seven minute chunk.
