So in a very long ( I am told because *I* didn’t stay up to watch it) National final  The Spanish had a straight choice between two not very inspiring songs – a fact born out that Eurovoix reports that less than 1 million people bothered to tune in in “Prime time” Saturday night telly to watch the show.

Despite the massive show of “meh” by the Spanish public, those that bothered to vote chose “Voy a quedarme” or I will Stay in English by 58% to Memoria and it’s 42%.  Spanish Eurofans will be aghast when this comes half way down the table and will then wonder why.  Listen to it, and i think you’ll understand my sarcasm.
