This song has all the prerequisites to win the semi-final: good singers, a good song and a nice clappy beat. The only thing that worries me is the staging. From behind, the backing lights seem very overpowering and are an eye distraction from the song.
But, and it’s a big but, there are only three minutes to make an impression and get you voting in this contest. Without a doubt, this certainly makes you prick up your ears and go, “Ooooh, now.”
This will do right well. Definitely qualifying.
