As usual the Rockhal in Esch was the location for the only live programme RTL have made today – and I am not making this up.
Eight songs were presented for your ridicule plus appearences from JJ, Conchita (breaking their vow of never coming to any Eurovision event ever oh dear me no what’s that? money?), a little montage of how well Eurovision has gone down over the last 70 years and all this hosted by three presenters and the EBU voting platform helping a broadcaster out – it’s heartwarming to see!
Two rounds of voting later, plus the obligatory over running superfinal to make sure that the live TV quota in Luxembourg was brought up to snuff for the week ( 2 and a half hours my arse RTL – just tell the truth, it’s until you decide, isn’t it?) we finally got the below result.
