ATTENTION! Lithuania’s entry only has to be the sixth-worst song in this section to qualify, and it is just about there.
Staged with lots of lights, the singer and a dancer, it delivers the same old dance routine you would expect. To be fair, that may be enough to produce the Lithuanian result in this section: qualifying. Once again, it is the old Eastern European distraction technique—hide a bad song behind choreography and make everything seem all right.
But you cannot get away from what the performance is actually offering. Despite the lights and the dancing, this is a shouty, repetitive song with the DNA of diaspora voting written all the way through it. In this case, that is not necessarily a bad thing.
