Israel and I tend to agree with AKOE on this one, to be honest. Dana International looked and sounded hideous in Eurovision 2011, and the whole performance struck me as half-arsed and ill-conceived.
The wardrobe was a disaster, the fake tan clearly wasn’t working, and her voice sounded like it smokes 20 Marlboro an hour. Dana can sing, but she cannot sing this song: the backing singers appear to be doing all the work for her.
On this showing, I too think Israel could finish last in the semi-final. History repeating itself? I wouldn’t bet on it.
