The gorgeous Maria Elena Kyriakou now in a shimmering number and looking and sounding stunning. For someone who loves a belter of a ballad, I did rather expect to like this more. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it, she emotes wonderfully with the camera, I’d not be surprised if she squeezes out a tear or two on Tuesday night. The blue shimmering backdrop matches the performance nicely and, as the song builds, she grabs the mic stands and gives us a nice finish. It has shades of a Bond theme about it and is certainly powerful just not enough for me to rate it as my favourite ballad. But it’s GREECE and should qualify.
