The latest name tossed into the 2020 Eurovision hat is Sandro Nicolas, who was yesterday confirmed as Cyprus’s representative.
Broadcaster CyBC previously announced that over 120 songs were submitted to an open call. Details of the actual entry are promised before the end of the year. The smart money is on another uptempo banger from Alex P.
Born Alessandro Rütten in 1996, Sandro is a German-based Greek-American singer who reached the semifinals of ‘Voice of Germany’. Rumour has it, he once went to Cyprus on a family holiday.
