It’s Sunday, so here’s a birthday post for you that’s a bit earlier than normal. I hope you’ve been looking forward to it.
If you’re from a certain country (maybe more than one), you may not like today’s choice. But a birthday’s a birthday and worth a little celebration. In 2016 we were Sweden (yawn), and watched today’s birthday girl Ô»Õ¾Õ¥Õ¿Õ¡ Õ„Õ¸Ö‚Õ¯Õ¸Ö‚Õ¹ÕµÕ¡Õ¶/Iveta Mukuchyan do her stuff for sunny Armenia (all seven if her at one point). Europe liked her and she came second in her semi-final to a certain Russian. Her fortunes in the final weren’t quite as good, but seventh was a very creditable placing.
Iveta is 32 today.
