There are some very unlucky countries out there in the land of Eurovision. They try and try but no-one seems to like them. Other countries, on the other hand, can enter any amount of rubbish and sail through to the Grand Final. I think Slovakia is a case in point. Today’s birthday girl Nela Pocísková co-sang maybe not the best song ever, but had this been G*****, they would have had no trouble. And some of their other efforts have faired no better. Škoda, as they say in Bratislava. Nela is 24 today.
