So it appears that Anastasia Prikhodko turns into her mother in the background shots … who’d have thunk it!! I liked this song the first time IÂ heard it – then she tried to be a Sinead on stage (O’Connor rather than Mulvey) and that turned me off it, to be honest.
The staging intrigues me – It’s a bit ‘Matrix’ meets … well some very odd visuals indeed. It does look like someone has thought long and hard about it. Perhaps too long and hard. This will be a love it or hate it ‘marmite’ song. And that means, I struggle to see this doing much more than end mid-table. No matter how clever the background looks.
