So, that country down in the deep south … of Europe, Georgia, gave us a treat for eye and ear on Friday 20th January. Twenty-five songs, yes you read right, twenty-five of the bleeders competed for the coveted chance to be the tenth ever Georgian entry to this contest.
Why on earth they needed to inflict this on us after work on a Friday night was totally beyond me but, hey ho … that’s what GPB decided to do!
Tako Gachechiladze won and will represent Georgia in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest with the self-penned song Keep the Faith.
