As you may or may not know, the gods at the BBC have smiled on us again by allowing us, and by extension you my European children, press access to the 63rd Eurovision Song Contest.

What are we gonna do? The same old schtick that we’ve done every May since 2001 – yer fools – we’ll write a bit of prose, we’ll do some videos, we might even do some special video things on the YouTube channel – if we can work the technology – and do some sort of news broadcast live from the bowels of the arena … or a pub … more likely a pub to be honest 😉
