The stage is very like the (somewhat cheap) promo video, two drummers, the buys centre stage singing and back lit in blues, pinks and purples, which then cut away to the various selfies the BBC asked people to send in. Later there’s the laser effects similar to Softengine in 2014 that I thought this needed, so glad they’re in there.
There’s an energy to this and it’s uplifting. I was really worried this might not get many points, but I’ve got a bit more hope after seeing this. I mean we’re not going to win or anything, but we might, just might do OK.
