In 2021, as the world was emerging from the fun and games of a pandemic, performers and some fans got to go to Rotterdam. They saw an interesting winner performed in Italian by Måneskin. The lead singer was today’s birthday boy Damiano David. He exuded charisma – well, he exuded something anyway – and seemed to have a stage cat beyond his years. As we know, the world then became Måneskin’s oyster. Who says Eurovision kills careers?
