We all have our favourite songs. And there are those songs that are always popular. Those songs that will always feature in, for example, a Top 250. And then there are other songs…
Occasionally you’ll hear that song that you forgot existed. There are plenty of them. So it’s good to celebrate them. In other news, we’re journeying to Iceland for today’s birthday girl María Ólafsdóttir. Back in 2015 she participated in the second semi-final and, erm, didn’t finish in the Top 10. She scored from six countries which wasn’t quite enough to make that top 10. But at least she got to see the drama unfold on the Saturday night.
María is 33 today.
