If you’re anything like me, you’ll be starting your festivities very shortly. Or it could be tomorrow. Or it could be early next month. Whenever it is, have fun and make the most of it.
But enough of a good preach, you want a birthday. And what better than an Estonian one? You don’t agree? You’re just a stick in the mud. Well, as it’s the birthday of Maarja-Liis Ilus (Mary Lisa Beautiful if you will). You might remember her as a 15 year old when she performed with Ivo Linna (John Town) and got our first top 10 place. Then one year later she glammed up and achieved Eesti’s second top 10 place. She’s clearly a trailblazer. They were good times. As you’ll see from today’s video, she’s the one without the beard.
Maarja is 42 today.
