Having used their normal selection method to send a singer HaKokhav HaBa l’Eurovizion 2026, Noam Bettan (Great name) has been chosen.
Born in 1998 to a French Jewish family, he began his career when his compulsory Military service ended. He’s been on TV Talent shows as well, so knows his way around them, finishing 3rd on Aviv or Eyal. After that success he went on to release loads of singles and an album in a “pop” style.
On a personal level I fear he won’t be given a warm welcome in Vienna for “reasons” which might dent his confidence going forward but provided he is allowed to be himself in both the song ( which is as usual being announced later) and performance an uptempo song might be forthcoming
