That’s the vibe I’m getting here. There’s an air of quite frantic lack of interest around. It’s a song that isn’t interesting enough in its own right, needed bringing to life by an inspired staging, and they’ve… it’s not ‘generic’, it’s not quite “We’ll take swirly please. In blues and reds”, but it’s not interesting enough or inspired enough.
