I’m gonna rename this song “shite” – because that’s what it is. Its performed in a serviceable way: woman singing a competent ballad type song, and that’s the worry. The key moment in this song (where yer girl sings “alive and breathing“) takes four times to get round to her and that’s not a good thing.
It doesn’t engage me into voting and it wont do that with Europe either, and with six not getting a golden ticket, there is a chance that this is one of them.
Frankly it’s just not good enough.
