Continuing my trip down memory lane, I’ve gone to the good old 1960s today. I don’t remember them but I think some of you do. I understand it was some decade. Free love, Iron Curtains, and black & white TV. Which brings me to today’s birthday boy Jacques Raymond. He was drafted in at short notice in 1971 when Nicole (of Nicole & Hugo fame) went down ill. Obviously he didn’t replace her, but Hugo (baby, baby) wouldn’t perform without her. I’ll save that 1971 performance for another time, so here’s his 1963 attempt at Eurovision glory. Jacques is 77 today.
Happy birthday, Jacques!
