I rambled on about a debut entry a few days ago, and I’ve got another debut entry for you today. It’s Turkey’s turn, and we all know that until they decided to take an indefinite hiatus, their results were a little mixed. Their first results weren’t that good, but if those same songs had been entered more recently, would have done a whole lot better.
Today’s birthday girl Semiha Yankı was therefore a little unlucky in being around with such a fine song in 1975. She only scored three points from Monaco.
Semiha is 59Â today.
