I’ve picked a duet today. Don’t you just love them? This duettist wrote the song as well as duetted with Joanna Bussinger. But more of her later. The song is about doing something bad in your past. We’ve all done it, whether it was picking on a younger sister, or singing for France in 1989.
Today’s birthday boy is Kjetil Mørland, and Joanna is of course Debrah Scarlett. They had a good contest, coming fourth in their semi-final, and then eighth in the Grand Final in Vienna, in what was a very strong year. It was a noteworthy contest, in that only two Nordic nations made it to that Grand Final. But what was Mørland’s secret?
Mørland is 45 today.
