A duet. That chance to get two singers for the price of one. Sometimes there’s chemistry, sometimes not. That can be part of the appeal od the duet – do they really get on?
Today’s duet is set around a couple who get together at a party, where their other halves have deserted them. It’s a common occurrence. Probably. Anyway, the lady of the duo – with the shorter hair – is today’s birthday girl Lotte Nilsson (aka Lotte Feder and Lotte Marcussen). Lotte and pal Kenny had made the short trip to Malmö, which is almost Denmark. So home advantage, right? Well they had the dubious honour of singing after the song that won, which must have dented their hopes. But a smattering of points earned them a twelfth place. That would have been the left-hand of the scoreboard these days.
Lotte is 60 today.
