Ukraine has launched its search for a Eurovision 2026 entry, with public broadcaster Suspilne officially opening submissions for Vidbir 2026 in early September. Songwriters and performers can now register their interest, setting in motion one of the most anticipated national selections in Eastern Europe.

As in previous years, the process will culminate in a televised national final in February 2026, where a jury and the public will decide who will carry Ukraine’s colours to Vienna. Vidbir has become known for its high production values and fiercely competitive line-ups, often blending established stars with emerging talents from across the country.

This year’s edition will also feature a newly appointed music producer, bringing a fresh vision to the selection. Organisers say they are committed to maintaining Vidbir’s reputation as one of the region’s most influential and closely watched contests.

Ukraine’s Eurovision entries have consistently attracted international attention, and the road to Vienna promises to keep fans watching closely as the next chapter unfolds.
