Almost a year after RTVSLO announced that Ana Soklič would return to the Eurovision fold as Slovenia’s representative in Rotterdam, we finally have her song: Amen.
The song was presented during a retrospective show celebrating Slovenia’s 60-year association with Eurovision, having been selected from the 191 songs submitted to RTVSLO.
Sadly, for those of us who remember the old Eurovision days, Amen is not a rehash of this:
Instead, it is a pseudo-gospel song, mixed with a big sound. And, I have to say, I quite like it.
