So we’re properly off with the national-final shenanigans for Eurovision (actual) 2026, and Malta has delivered its first contribution: a late-night semi-final.
I have to admit that I was recording a radio show, so I only caught the end of it. Even so, all the prerequisites for a normal Maltese competition appeared to be in place: Rocs Travel, Crosscraft and Ta’Qali.
Of the 18 entries announced for the semi-final—and believe me, there were a lot of things that words cannot do justice to on a site like this one—12 have made it through to the national final.
