Slovenia’s Eurovision representatives Joker Out will perform Carpe Diem in Liverpool this year. The band’s Slovenian-language entry will be heard for the first time on Saturday, 4 February, during the special show Misija Liverpool.
According to RTVSLO, Joker Out will “remain true to their recognisable musical style and sound”. Guitarist and singer Kris Guštin offered a more colourful description of that style, saying the band wants to show Europe what “shagadelic rock’n’roll” means.
Carpe Diem revealed next weekend
The show was recorded yesterday and will air next weekend at 20:00 on TV Slovenija 1. It will be hosted by Miša Molk, the self-styled icon of the Slovenian Eurovision scene.
The programme will also feature performances and appearances by former Slovenian Eurovision acts including Amaya, LPS, Nuša Derenda and Tomaž Mihelič.
