Eurovision 2015 – Finland – PNK to Vienna, Mp3?

So who is representing Finland at Eurovision 2015?? The answer is PNK! In a slight change in format from previous years they have got rid of the panel of so-called experts, and the pre-recording of the semi finals meaning that all of the UMK shows are totally live….. ( not necessarily a good thing lol). Televoting decided the 3 songs from each semi final that will progress to a nine song final on the 28th February. YLE will make no money from your televoting Euros as they will be donating all of the proceeds to charity… bless 😉

As listed above, and as referenced here before, UMK 2015 has been a bit of a ratings disaster for YLE with hardly anyone watching and, it could be argued, a lower standard that the previous two runnings. However, the 9 songs in the final might disagree and they are listed below for your perusal.
However the final was contested by the 9 groups below. There was a one song, no superfinal contest with 90% televoting and 8 regional juries comprising the other 10% (Dont ask me why, they just did, OK!). The Finnish public have gone for PNK, the inclusive punk band, to fly the Finnish flag. Personally I suspect the song will go nowhere, but good for the Finns for proving once again that anyone can and should enter this contest!
