This is just a quick posting but a good one all the same. Cast your mind back to 1999. A warm week in a country that closes down on a Friday night (except wherever the Irish have a party). It was a small venue, so to make up for it they had three presenters. Some country called Sweden won. Must have been a fluke. A bit further down the scoreboard was our birthday boy from Colombia Norway. Stig André van Eijk thought it was a good thing to wear a vest with a big bull on it. I’ll leave it to you to decide whether the bull summed up the song or not. Stig André is 35 today.
