JOWST (aka Joakim With Steen) has won Norway’s national final and will represent the country at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest with “Grab the Moment”.
NRK combined points from an international jury with televotes to pick four of the ten songs to go through to a second round. The four selected to sing again were:
JOWST – Grab The Moment
Ulrikke – Places
Elin & The Woods – First Step In Faith / Oadjebasvuhtii
Ammunition – Wrecking Crew
The jury bowed out and it was down to viewers to pick the best of what (to my ears) felt like a bland bunch.
JOWST is an Oslo-based DJ and producer. For Eurovision he is joined on vocals by 2012 Voice finalist Aleksander Walmann.
