Well, if the first six weren’t enough to get you excited, Estonia’s ERR has only gone and upped the ante with their second wave of reveals. After yesterday’s announcement of some serious star power, tonight’s reveal of the remaining six acts for Eesti Laul 2026 has left little doubt: this national selection is going absolutely massive.
The Big Names Keep Coming
ANT x Minimal Wind are joining forces with “Wounds (Don’t Wanna Fall)”. Both artists have previous form at Eesti Laul – ANT competed in 2025 with “Tomorrow Never Comes” while Minimal Wind took to the stage with “Armageddon” the same year. Now they’re pooling their talents for a collaboration that promises to bring something rather intriguing to the competition.
Clicherik & Mäx burst onto the scene with “Jolly Roger” – and here’s where things get interesting. This hip-hop duo made waves back in 2018 after winning a rap competition on Raadio 2 with their track “Madalal”. Their experimental approach to alternative hip-hop has built them a devoted following, and their massive spring hit “Keerleb” earned them Raadio 2’s 2020 Song of the Year gong. Now they’re throwing their hat into the Eurovision ring.
Getter Jaani is back. Full stop. After her iconic – and might we say, infamous – appearance at Eurovision 2011 with “Rockefeller Street”, the song that finished 24th but later became an internet sensation years later thanks to TikTok and nightcore versions ( and is still part of our lexicon here – well the counting bit at any rate) she’s determined to reclaim Estonia’s Eurovision spot. With “The Game” in her arsenal, Jaani is hoping lightning strikes twice. She’s been busy in the years since, presenting at Eurovision 2012 and treading the boards in musical theatre productions. – I wonder if it’s a song about Ludo?!
Laura Prits brings “Warrior” to the fray. The rock icon who started out with Ziggy Wild back in 2012 previously had a go at Eesti Laul in 2016 with the pop single “Hey Kiddo”. Beyond the microphone, she’s built herself a solid gig as a television and radio presenter.
Robert Linna, son of the legendary Ivo Linna, is performing “Metsik Roos” (or “Wild Rose” if you prefer the English translation). The pop musician has carved out his own lane in Estonia’s music scene, most notably through his work with the band Elephants From Neptune. He’s been around the Eesti Laul block before too – he competed in 2021 alongside his father and Supernova.
And then there’s Stockholm Cowboys – featuring Stig Rästa and Victor Crone – with “Last Man Standing”. Now this is a collaboration worth getting excited about. Rästa took Estonia to a respectable 7th place finish at Eurovision 2015 (with 106 points) alongside Elina Born and “Goodbye to Yesterday”. Crone, the Swedish singer who wrapped himself in Estonia’s flag in 2019, brought home 76 points and a 20th place finish with “Storm”. Stockholm Cowboys have already released music together – including a 2025 single “Cotton Eye Joe (Single And Free)” with Swedish artist Dotter. This one’s got serious Eurovision pedigree written all over it.
Now We’re Up and Running
Joining tonight’s six are yesterday’s stellar lineup: NOËP with “Days like this”, Grete Paia with “Taevas jäi üles”, Marta Pikani with “Kell kuus”, OLLIE with “Slave”, Uliana Olhyna with “Rhythm of nature”, and the Norwegian-Swiss legends Vanilla Ninja with “Too epic to be true”. Vanilla Ninja, for those who weren’t paying attention back in 2005, placed 8th at Eurovision for Switzerland with “Cool Vibes”.
