So Czechia have released their music video for Eurovision 2025. “Kiss Kiss Goodbye” is performed by ADONXS, the stage name of Slovak singer Adam Pavlovčin, who was internally selected by Czech broadcaster Česká televize to represent the country in Basel.
They’d already put the acoustic version out after ADONXS performed it at Malta Eurovision Song Contest on 4 February, but this seems to be the full and final version with the beefed-up arrangement. The official Eurovision release arrived on 7 March, along with the video, which explores childhood experiences, emotional pain, human failure and the effects of an absent father.
At the time of writing, Czechia were due to perform in the second half of the second semi-final on 15 May. The later running order placed ADONXS 12th.
Update: “Kiss Kiss Goodbye” eventually finished 12th out of 16 in the second semi-final, scoring 29 points and missing out on the grand final.
