Bulgaria finally took the plunge tonight, holding another live TV show hot on the heals of last week’s Semi Final round, to decide who’ll carry the flag to Eurovision 2026 — and after a couple of hours of glitz, a lot of chatter, and *some* vocal gymnastics, the singer has been picked.
The show, broadcast from Sofia with all the production polish fans have come to expect from Bulgaria, (and a few camera cuts that made less sense), gave viewers a proper showcase of the country’s talent – or at least the eight that the viewing public thought had a bit of something about them. Dara finally emerged as the winner.
| Performer(s) | Notes | |
|---|---|---|
| DARA | Qualified from Show One to the Artist Final. | WINNER |
| Innerglow | Qualified after tie on 31 points. | |
| Kerana and Kosmonavtite | Band also styled as "Kerana & Cosmonauts". | |
| Mihaela Marinova | Solo pop artist, high jury and public scores in Show One. | |
| Molets | Sometimes rendered as "Molec" in English-language coverage. | |
| Mona | Qualified with one of the strongest televote totals. | |
| Preyah | Singer‑songwriter, through to Artist Final. | |
| Roksana | Qualified on 31 points after tie-break. |
This wasn’t a night about songs or staging – just the voice. And on that front, Bulgaria’s made a solid choice. They delivered a consistent vocal, good or bad i’ll leave up to you, and they might, just might, be the confident performer ready to take on whatever entry Bulgaria throws their way in the next few weeks.
Naturally, the internet’s already busy debating whether this was the right call, but for now, Bulgarian fans can finally stop worrying about who is going — and start speculating about what they’ll be singing when May rolls around – songwriters, you have FOUR weeks!
