After a grand old day out in 25-degree sunshine in Malm, it finally occurred to me that the European thingummy festival is only hours away.
I am firmly in the ABD camp. If Denmark does win—and my fear is that it may well do—it will be the worst winner ever, in my opinion. Feel free to have a different one!
So, if not Denmark, who else? Russia is a good bet, as is Hungary if it has gone down well with the juries. Italy may well be in with a sniff, and so may Norway. Indeed, any one of eight to ten songs could win it.
As for the UK: yes, she did miss some notes last night. Then again, plenty of other performers have done the same in jury-based votings in the past, and it hasn’t hurt them. I’m expecting somewhere between 10th and 16th, and that would do.
Whatever happens, you lot have been brilliant—far better than I have been, lol. I might post something later on…
